A 17-year-old St. Louis woman has been arrested in connection with items that allegedly had been stolen from vehicles parked at Seckman High School in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Deputies received a report that someone had been looking through unlocked vehicles on the lot, and at about 3 p.m. Oct. 21, pulled over a suspicious vehicle at Pin Oak Drive and Old Lemay Ferry Road in Imperial, the report said.

The woman was driving the vehicle, which had items inside that deputies suspected were stolen from the vehicles on the school parking lot, according to the report.

The suspect allegedly admitted to stealing a laptop computer found in her vehicle; however, she would not say where other items deputies found in the vehicle had come from, the report said.

Other items included an iPad, a Canon Power Shot camera and prescription medicine. In all, the items believed to be stolen were valued at $1,500, according to the report.

The Sheriff’s Office will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
