The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts from a construction site in the 3100 block of Rock Creek Road in High Ridge. Tools valued at $5,189 were stolen, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The incident occurred between Oct. 8 and Oct. 13. The Brockmiller Construction site manager told investigators someone forced entry into a storage trailer and stole two electric demolition hammers, multiple demolition hammer bits, a welder and a metal chop saw, the report said.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Oct. 20 that the stolen items had not been recovered and no arrests had been made. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 636-797-5515.
