The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office recently recovered several stolen vehicles from an address in the 2100 block of Lake Park Trail in the De Soto area.
At about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 9), the Sheriff’s Office got a tip that a pickup reported stolen from Ste. Genevieve County might be at the address, so a deputy went there and found the pickup, a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500, in the driveway, Lt. Gary Higginbotham said.
In addition, the deputy found two other stolen pickups there – a 1999 Ford F350 reported stolen from Reynolds County and a 2003 Ford F150 reported stolen from Farmington, Higginbotham said.
The deputy also found two 20-foot trailers there that appeared to be stolen, but as of today (Feb. 11), the Sheriff’s Office hadn’t figured out where they were from, Higginbotham said.
He said today that no suspects had been identified and no arrests had been made.
The case is still under investigation, Higginbotham said.
