The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with a homicide investigation after James Rhodes, 30, of Imperial was found severely injured Friday morning (Oct. 29) in the 4400 block of East Four Ridge Road in Imperial. The Sheriff’s Office got a call around 7:25 a.m. about Rhodes, and he was found near the road and died shortly after being transported to an area hospital, the Sheriff’s Office said in a written statement.
The Sheriff’s Office is not providing details about what type of injuries Rhodes suffered while the investigation is underway, the report said.
The Sheriff’s Office did not say if any suspects had been identified. However, it reported that no arrests had been made in the case as of this afternoon.
