At least three residents have been displaced by a fire that started in an exterior stairwell of the Bayshore Apartments, 1247 Telegraph Road, in Arnold. No one was injured in the fire, the Rock Community Fire Protection District reported.
Rock Fire was dispatched to the apartments at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, and the first truck arrived at 3:50 p.m. The fire was under control at 3:57 p.m., and the scene was cleared at 5:18 p.m., spokeswoman Alyson Rotter said.
Rock Fire reported two of the apartment units were damaged by the fire and no longer accessible. One of the residents of a damaged unit received assistance from the Red Cross, Rotter said.
Rotter did not have information about living arrangements for the other two displaced residents.
She said investigators have not determined how the fire started as of Thursday, June 13, but she said it was not being investigated as suspicious.
