Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a purse from outside an apartment in the Richardson Place Apartment complex in the 3200 bock of Richardson Place Drive. The purse contained $1,191 worth of items, including credit cards and debit cards, the report said.
A 65-year-old Arnold woman told police she had set her purse outside her front door at about 4 p.m. April 24, and when she returned at about 10 p.m. to get her purse, it was gone. The victim also told police that someone had used her debit card at an ATM in Richardson Crossing retail complex, stealing $64.50 from her, according to the report.
As of May 11, neither the purse nor its contents had been recovered, and there were no suspects, Major Brian Carroll said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
