Arnold Police are investigating thefts from four unlocked vehicles that occurred between Jan. 30 and Feb. 2 throughout the city.
One theft happened between 9 p.m. Jan. 30 and 5:30 a.m. Jan. 31 in the 500 block of Hannah Way. In that case, someone stole a laptop computer valued at $1,200 out of the vehicle, the report said.
Another theft occurred between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the 1100 block of Jeffco Boulevard. Someone stole a purse that contained about $20 in cash and 44 Tramadol tablets from that vehicle, according to the report.
The other two thefts happened during the same period and in the same neighborhood – one on Morningside Lane and the other on Lee Drive.
The theft in the 800 block of Morningside occurred between 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 6 a.m. Feb. 2, when about $50 in cash was stolen from the vehicle, the report said.
Between 8 p.m. Feb. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 2, someone stole a laptop computer valued at about $750 from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Lee, according to the report.
As of Feb. 10, none of the stolen items from any of the four thefts had been recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
