Arnold Police are asking the public to help them identify a person of interest in numerous vehicle break-ins over the past 10 days or so. Since June 4, Arnold Police have gotten about 16 reports of thefts from vehicles all over town, said Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones.
Several guns have been stolen during in those incidents. In addition, purses, cash, electronics, medications and other items have been stolen, Arnold Police reported
Some of the thefts were from unlocked vehicles. Other times, the culprit broke vehicle windows to get inside them and steal items, according to Arnold Police.
Arnold Police reported that some of the thefts occurred June 4, others between June 7 and June 8 and several over the past weekend – June 10 to June 12.
Some of the streets where the vehicles were parked included Wild Fire Court, Blossom Lane, Hilltop Drive, Kimmy Lane and Doe Run Drive, all which are off Old Lemay Ferry Road. Another theft occurred on Polly Drive, which is off Lonedell Road, and others happened on Bluffview Heights and Riverbend Court, which are off Jeffco Boulevard north of the Fox schools campus. In addition, thefts occurred on Hickory Court, Hickory Ridge Trail, Creekside Trail, Hickory Manor and Hickory Bluff Lane, all in the Manor at Hickory Square subdivision off Jeffco Boulevard just south of Arnold City Hall.
Police got surveillance footage from some of the incidents and released a photo from it today. Anyone who can identify the person or who has information about any of the thefts is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
