The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 pickup from a home in the 500 block of Ozark Drive in High Ridge. The pickup was stolen between 3 p.m. Feb. 15 and 6 a.m. Feb. 16, a report said.
The victim said the pickup was stolen from his driveway. He said he believes he forgot to lock his driver’s side door and a key was left inside the vehicle, according to the report.
The pickup was valued at $20,000. As of Thursday (Feb. 22), the pickup had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
