A pickup recently was stolen from outside All Pro Auto Glass, 2928 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. A windshield or two were inside the pickup bed and were stolen, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim told deputies he parked his blue 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup next to his business at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and discovered it missing about 9 a.m. Sept. 20. He said the pickup was unlocked but no keys were left inside it, the report said.
The pickup had a dented tailgate. The victim estimated the value of the pickup at $1,500 and the windshields at $150. The pickup was recovered Sept. 23 in Fenton, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
As of Sept. 27, there were no suspects or arrests, he said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
