The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a pickup, motorcycle and other items from a home in the 1500 block of Saline Road in unincorporated Fenton. In all, the stolen items were valued at $14,750, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The incident occurred between Oct. 20 and Oct. 27. Stolen items included a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup, a 1986 Husqvarna motorcycle, a 1960 homemade three-rail motorcycle trailer, a John Deere riding lawn mower, an air compressor and 30 Precious Moments figurines, the report said.
It is not known how entry was gained to the home, but a camper door and battery compartment on the premises had pry marks, according to the report.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Oct. 28 that the stolen items had not been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
