David Bewig Jr., 31, of Pevely died from a gunshot wound early today (Dec. 9) in north St. Louis, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported.
At about 2:30 a.m., St. Louis Police a call about a suspicious auto in the 5500 block of Etzel Street.
“Officers responded to a call for a ‘suspicious auto’ and upon arrival located the victim inside the vehicle, unconscious,” the department reports. “The victim had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on the scene.”
The investigation is ongoing, the department reports.
