Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a gun and other items from a van parked outside the Denny’s restaurant, 1203 Drury Lane, Capt. Rich Shular said.
Police were called to the restaurant at about 9:30 a.m. Dec. 9, after a 60-year-old Beverly Hills, Fla., man discovered the driver-side window on his 2018 Ford Transit van had been shattered. He told police a .9mm Smith and Wesson gun, Dell laptop computer and backpack were stolen from the van, the report said.
The stolen items were valued at $775. The damage to the window was estimated at $350, according to the report.
As of Dec. 17, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Shular said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
