The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Fellowship First Baptist Church, 2735 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. Electronics worth about $2,985 were stolen from the church, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Between about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 and 7 a.m. Aug. 16, someone apparently got into the church through an unlocked sliding glass door, so the building’s alarm system was not triggered. Stolen items included two 50-inch LG TVs, two Peavey 15-inch monitors with speakers, a Casio keyboard, a Hammond keyboard, an eight-channel Peavey mixer and a Sony DVD player, the report said.

In addition, deputies found a box full of items valued at $1,440 that had been taken from the church. Those items were found in a nearby wooded area and included a 400-watt Peavey amp, a 10-channel Berhinger mixer, a Peavey wireless microphone, a Crate amp and an Xbox video game system, according to the report.

As of Sept. 2, the $2,985 worth of electronics had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
