A 29-year-old Valley Park man found with his pants off at an Arnold restaurant was arrested for alleged possession of heroin. The man was found about 4:45 p.m. Dec. 26 lying on the bathroom floor at McDonald’s, 2005 Richardson Road, in Arnold, according to Arnold Police.

Officers reportedly was found with a spoon, hypodermic needle and syringe next to him, and he allegedly told police he had injected himself with fentanyl. Then, when officers searched the pants the suspect had previously removed, they allegedly found a needle and eight capsules containing a white powdery substance, the report said.

The man was transported by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
