One man died and another was transported to a hospital for treatment after a double shooting Wednesday night (Feb. 24) in Wildwood, St. Louis County Police reported.
At 7:53 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of Eagle Creek Road. When officers arrived, one man was found dead from at least one gunshot wound, and another man was taken to an area hospital with a non-life threatening injury from a gunshot, the report said.
St. Louis County Police reported that at least four people were inside the home when the two men who were shot arrived. An altercation followed and shots were fired, according to the report.
No injuries were reported for any of the four who already were at the home.
The Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is leading the homicide investigation, and as of this morning (Feb. 25), no other information was available about the incident, St. Louis County Police reported.
