Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a lockbox from a home in the 500 block of Potomac Drive. The box contained $950 in cash and financial paperwork, police reported.
The victim, a 28-year-old Arnold man, told police he had left his home at about noon Oct. 15 and when he returned at about 6:30 p.m. that day, he found the door leading into his garage damaged and a door leading from the garage to the house damaged. The damage to the two doors was estimated at about $600, and the stolen lockbox was valued at about $150, the report said.
As of Oct. 26, the lockbox and its contents had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Det. Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
