Man arrested for alleged drug possession in Pevely

Kendall Terrell Lipsey

A man arrested by Pevely Police has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. The man was first arrested last year following a report of trespassing, court records show.

Kendall Terrell Lipsey, 35, of St. Louis was arrested on the drug charge on June 2, and as of June 4, he was being held on a $2,500 bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court and jail documents said.

According to a probable-cause statement filed by Pevely Police, Lipsey was arrested at about 10 p.m. March 28, 2025, after the department was called about a potential trespasser off Pevely Pointe Drive. An officer arrested Lipsey at the property.

When the officer searched Lipsey, he allegedly found a crystal-like substance in a bag that Lipsey was carrying. The Missouri State Highway Patrol on Aug. 8, 2025, identified the substance as methamphetamine, the report said.

Lipsey is prior drug offender. He was found guilty of a possession of a controlled substance in April 2018 in St. Louis County, court records said.
