Christopher Donald “Chris” Robertson, 42, of Imperial has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for molesting two girls who were younger than 17. He was sentenced Oct. 14, about two months after a jury found him guilty of sodomy, sexual misconduct and other related offenses, according to court records.
Jefferson County Div. 12 Associate Circuit Judge Tony Manansala sentenced Robertson to five years in prison for sodomy and three three-year sentences for other felony charges, as well as six months in Jefferson County Jail for the misdemeanor sexual misconduct charge. The sentences will be served consecutively for a total of 14 years, according to court records.
Jefferson County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Shannon O’Neal handled the case.
One of the victims told investigators Robertson molested her five times between August 2017 and May 2018. She also told investigators Robertson told her “he would find her when she was 18 years old,” the report said.
The other victim told police Robertson molested her in the spring of 2018, according to the report.
Robertson currently is in the Eastern Reception and Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
