A 25-year-old Imperial man recently was cited for allegedly leaving a dog in a hot vehicle parked outside the Walmart Supercenter, 2201 Michigan Ave,., in Arnold. The dog was not hurt, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
At 2 p.m. Sept. 4, Arnold Police got a call about the dog left in the vehicle. Officers found the owner of the vehicle and the dog and issued him a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for animal cruelty, Jones said.
