A hot dog cart worth about $5,500 recently was stolen from outside the WoodSpring Suites, 888 Arnold Commons Drive. The cart was stolen between noon and 2:30 p.m. May 19, Arnold Police report.
The trailer-like cart is designed to be pulled behind a vehicle so it can be taken to different venues where the owner sells hot dogs from it, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said the owner was staying at WoodSpring Suites and had parked the cart outside the hotel.
As of June 8, the trailer had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Jones said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
