Laura B. Bohannon, 29, of Hillsboro has been sentenced to seven years in prison for drug trafficking, court records show.
On Nov. 29, 2012, she was found in Jefferson County with more than 30 grams of methamphetamine, the report said.
She pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced July 15 by Jefferson County Div. 1 Circuit Judge Robert G. Wilkins.
Two other people – Robert R. James, 32, of Barnhart and Stephen Langendorf, 20, of St. Louis – also have been charged in connection with the incident.
Those cases are pending, court documents indicate.
Bohannon also was sentenced July 15 to five years for possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to use it to make meth, stemming from a July 14, 2012, incident in Jefferson County.
Those terms are to be served concurrently, or at the same time, according to the report.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Trisha C. Stefanski handled the cases.
Also, the prison terms Bohannon received July 15 are to be served concurrently with sentences she’s already serving, the report said.
Bohannon was sentenced in May to seven years in prison for drug trafficking tied to a June 19, 2012, incident in Jefferson County, as well as to five years for possession of a controlled substance connected to an Oct. 21, 2012, incident in Jefferson County, according to court papers.
She currently is in the Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia.
