About $3,000 in jewelry recently was stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Pebble Creek in High Ridge, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Between 9:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. March 25, while the victim was grocery shopping, someone broke glass in a second-story balcony door to get into the house and stole the items, the report said.

Four rings and one pair of earrings were stolen, according to the report.

Drawers in the kitchen and bedrooms and boxes and other containers in the bedrooms were opened during the burglary, the report said.

As of today (April 7), the stolen jewelry had not been recovered, and there were no arrests, said Maj. Ralph Brown of the Sheriff’s Office.

He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
