Three people called Arnold Police at about 10:20 p.m. Feb. 7 after they reportedly heard three to five gunshots in their neighborhoods. The callers lived on Weedel Drive and Morningside Lane, which are off Tenbrook Road, as well as on Dudler Drive off Jeffco Boulevard, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
The residents who live on Weedel Drive and Morningside Lane reported seeing a vehicle speeding toward Tenbrook Road after hearing gunshots. Officers canvassed the area, but they did not find evidence that a gun had been fired in the area, Christopher said.
“There was no damage to property or shell casings found,” he said. “There was nothing the following morning. Sometimes with something like this. you get calls the next morning when people find bullet holes or things like that, but we heard nothing else of this after that evening.”
