A burglary at a home in the 9800 block of Osage Drive northeast of Hillsboro cost the victim a pistol and a video game system. The items were valued at $540.06, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The burglary occurred Aug. 12, when someone broke a window on the south side of the home to get inside. Then, the culprit stole a Beretta Nano 9 mm pistol and a PlayStation 3 video game system.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Sept. 3 that neither of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
