Eureka Police are investigating the reported theft of a 9mm Glock 43 from an unlocked pickup that was parked in the 500 block of Bluffs View Court, Capt. David Wilson said.
The gun was reported stolen on April 18 by a 53-year-old Eureka man. He told police he first noticed the gun missing between April 9 and April 10, but he didn’t report the theft immediately because he thought the gun could have been somewhere else. However, the man believed it was taken from the pickup, the report said.
The gun is worth $450, according to the report.
As of April 26, there were no suspects and the gun had not been recovered, Wilson said.
