A 15-year-old allegedly was found with a vape pen that contained marijuana at Fox High School. The student was turned over to his and a report was forwarded to juvenile authorities, Arnold Police reported.

Det. Lt. Jeremey Christopher said Arnold Police, which provides the school’s resource officer, has not seen many similar incidents at Fox High so far this school year.

“We see them every now and then, but it is nothing like it was at Seckman (High School) for a short period of time (last school year),” he said.

Near the end of the 2021-2022 school year, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Marc Gibson, a school resource officer at the Fox C-6 district’s Seckman High in Imperial, reported an increase in the number of vaping devices and vape cartridges used to inhale marijuana found on students. The Sheriff’s Office has not reported any vaping devices containing illegal substances found at Seckman High this school year.
