Ryan S. Moore, 40, formerly of Jefferson County, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to manufacture methamphetamine. Moore, who most recently lived in St. Louis but previously lived in High Ridge and Hillsboro, is a prior offender convicted of at least 11 other felony drug charges and one felony assault charge, according to court documents.

In the latest case, Moore pleaded guilty to felony manufacture of a controlled substance, and on Dec. 6, 2018, former Jefferson County Div. 1 Circuit Judge Carl Wesley Yates sentenced him to 10 years in prison.

Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney Trisha C. Stefanski, who was an assistant prosecuting at the time, handled the case.

In February 2017, officers went to a home in the 5000 block of Meadow Drive in Imperial looking for Moore, who was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. The homeowner told officers Moore was not at the residence. However, officers searched the property and found Moore in a shed, and inside the shed, they found several chemicals and items commonly used to make meth, the probable-cause statement said.

Moore’s 10-year prison term will be served concurrently, or at the same time, with several other terms he previously was sentenced to, ranging from two years to seven years. Those convictions stem from an April 2009 incident in Jefferson County, a June 2009 incident in St. Louis County, a June 2009 incident in Jefferson County, an August 2009 incident in Jefferson County, a September 2009 incident in St. Charles County, a February 2010 incident in Washington County, a March 2011 incident in St. Francois County, an April 2011 incident in Washington County and a June 2015 incident in Callaway County.

Moore currently is in the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
