Three Arnold Police officers and a security guard had to physically remove a woman from WoodSpring Suites, 888 Arnold Commons Drive, when she refused to leave the hotel after causing a disturbance. The woman allegedly fought with and spit on them during the ruckus, Capt. Rich Shular said.
Officers were called to the hotel at 11:10 p.m. Oct. 5 after hotel staff members asked the woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, to leave and she refused. Employees told police the woman was using foul language and had attempted to bite and headbutt people, the report said.
The woman continued to cause a disturbance when officers arrived, and she allegedly attempted to strike the officers and a security guard. She did not hit anyone, but she did allegedly spit on all three officers and the guard, according to the report.
After arresting the woman, she allegedly threatened the officers’ families. The woman was taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released pending application for warrants, the report said.
The woman was issued summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for trespassing, fourth-degree assault on a police officer and intimidating a city official, Shular said.
