A 33-year-old Fenton woman was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The woman was arrested Dec. 21 during a traffic stop, Arnold Police reported.
At 2:13 p.m., officers stopped a 2019 Chevrolet Spark in the 2100 block of Michigan Avenue because a warrant was connected to the car’s license plate. After pulling over the woman, officers allegedly found meth and drug paraphernalia in her purse, the report said.
The woman already was wanted on a warrant from the Maryland Heights Police Department for possession of a controlled substance, according to the report.
She was arrested and taken to the Arnold Police Station, where she was booked and held for Maryland Heights Police. Depending on the results of the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
