Arnold Police arrested a 25-year-old Fenton man for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following an accident on Jeffco Boulevard. The man registered a .124 percent blood-alcohol content, police reported.
In Missouri, .08 percent is the legal limit.
At about 11:50 p.m. July 5, an officer saw a 2010 Dodge Ram that had crashed into a median barrier on northbound Jeffco Boulevard near Industrial Drive. The man was standing next to the pickup, the report said.
The officer learned the man was driving the pickup when the Ram’s front left corner hit the barrier, according to the report.
The man was not injured. However, the officer believed the man appeared intoxicated, the report said.
The man allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and released to a sober driver, according to the report.
Arnold Police issued the man a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged DWI, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
