A 33-year-old Fenton man was arrested after he was found with a motorcycle that had been reported stolen in Arnold. The 2011 Harley-Davidson XL 1200 Sportster, which was valued at $10,000, has been returned to the owner, Arnold Police reported.

A 65-year-old Pevely woman reported that her motorcycle was stolen between about 9:50 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. June 22 outside a home in the 3300 block of Bayvue Boulevard. She said she had left the keys in the motorcycle’s ignition while visiting a friend, the report said.

A few days later, Arnold Police received a tip that the motorcycle was seen at a home in the 1300 block of Lonedell Road. When they went to the address, the man was found with the motorcycle in the garage, according to the report.

The man was booked and released, pending application for warranta. Arnold Police will seek a stealing charge against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said.
