A 28-year-old Fenton man was arrested in Arnold for alleged possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for reportedly failing to stay in a single lane. The man was arrested just after 3 p.m. Oct. 11, Arnold Police reported.

An Arnold Police officer stopped the man, who was driving a 1998 Subaru Impreza, on Church Road, and the officer said the man appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic, the report said.

The officer searched the car and reportedly found meth and pipes in the center console. In addition, the man allegedly was driving with a revoked license, according to the report.

The driver was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and later released pending application for warrants. Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, as well as driving with a revoked license, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
