Just after 7 a.m. March 3, De Soto Police were dispatched to the Farmers Insurance office at 412 N. Main Street in response to a burglary.
The burglary occurred at about 7 p.m. on March 2, and employees arriving for work the next day found a door to the building broken and numerous items missing from the business, Police Chief Rick Draper reported.
Missing from the office were a Dell computer and a monitor, a mini refrigerator, and a painted portrait. The value of the items is estimated at $850, the report said.
The exterior door and deadbolt lock were both damaged in the burglary and are estimated to be worth about $575.
“We don’t have any suspects at this time,” Draper said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the De Soto Police Department at 636-586-8891.
