Investigators search a Mazda SUV that was driven this morning to Festus City Hall and Police Station on Tuesday morning by a woman who allegedly told officers she killed two of her children.

Eureka Police are investigating the theft of a fanny pack that contained $200 in cash from a storage locker at Six Flags, 4900 Six Flags Road. The victims, a 44-year-old Memphis, Tenn., woman and her 14-year-old daughter, had put the black Lululemon pack in the locker before riding the Spinsanity ride, police reported.

The theft was reported at about 2:40 p.m. June 17. The mother said she found an iPhone and a set of Apple AirPods that belong to her and her daughter in a bathroom near the ride, the report said.

As of June 30, the fanny pack and money had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Michael Werges said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
