Eureka Police are investigating damage to a rooftop condenser unit at O’Dell’s Irish Pub and Ale House that caused the restaurant to temporarily lose power. The unit was damaged between about 1 p.m. May 20 and 12:30 p.m. May 21, police reported.
Officers were called to the restaurant, 141 S. Central Ave., after a walk-in freezer stopped functioning because the rooftop unit had been tampered with. The restaurant did not report losing any product stored in the freezer, the report said.
Police did not have an estimate for the damage to the rooftop unit.
As of June 5, no suspects had been identified, Eureka Police Officer Mark Tinkham said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
