Eureka Police have arrested a 50-year-old Pacific man for allegedly stealing a utility trailer from Eureka Rental, 103 Thresher Drive. However, police are still looking for the trailer, which was not recovered, a police report said.
The 2015 green utility trailer was rented on March 1 and was never returned, and the theft was reported June 6. The trailer, which has a Eureka Rental sign on the back of it, is valued at $5,000, the report said.
The man said he gave the trailer to somebody, who may have taken it out of state. In addition, the man reportedly is helping police to locate the trailer, according to the report.
Anyone with information about the missing trailer is asked to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
