Eureka Police are looking for a driver who caused significant damage to the Comprehensive Chiropractic sign at 113 West Fifth St., Lt. David Wilson said.
At about 8:56 a.m. April 24, a driver in a silver sedan swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle and ran into the chiropractor’s sign, causing $750 worth of damage, Wilson said.
“(The driver) threw it into reverse and went north on Virginia Avenue from there,” Wilson said.
He said Monday (May 1) that police had not identified the driver, but he was being sought for leaving the scene of an accident.
