A 43-year-old Eureka woman was arrested for alleged DWI after a van she was driving was allegedly seen weaving between two lanes on Hwy. 109. The van also was seen stopped between two lanes at a red light on the highway, Eureka Police reported.
An officer stopped a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 17. The woman allegedly appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, and she told the officer she was coming home from a birthday party, the report said.
The woman allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. She was taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released to a sober driver, according to the report.
The woman was issued summons to appear in Eureka Municipal Court for alleged DWI and improper lane use, Capt. Michael Werges said.
