Arnold Police are trying to find a man who allegedly punched a Hobby Lobby employee in the face outside the store at 30 Arnold Park Mall. The employee was not seriously injured, police reported.
Officers were called to the store at about 9:25 p.m. Dec. 8. The employee, who is a juvenile, said he was leaving the store and someone wearing a ski mask and black hooded sweatshirt ran up to him and punched him, the report said.
The employee went back inside the store, and the alleged assailant ran across the parking lot to the nearby BMO bank, 1060 Jeffco Blvd., before fleeing in a dark colored sedan, according to the report.
The employee identified a potential suspect. The employee also told police the assault may have been about a girl both he and the potential suspect know, the report said.
As of Dec. 14, no suspect had been arrested, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the assault to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
