A large TV, a surround-sound system and a wheelchair recently were stolen from a detached building at a home in the 2200 block of West Tomahawk Trail in the De Soto area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 4, someone broke open a door to the building, which was being used as a shed, and stole the items, the report said.
Stolen items included a 65-inch TV, a Sony surround-sound system and a motorized wheelchair, altogether valued at $2,400, according to the report.
As of today (Aug. 10), none of the items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
