A 39-year-old Louisville, Ky., man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after he drove a 2010 Dodge Ram into a fence around an outdoor storage area outside the Syberg’s restaurant, 249 Arnold Crossroads Center. The damage to the fence was estimated at $700, Arnold Police reported.
Officers were called to the restaurant at about 3:10 a.m. April 24. A witness said the pickup ran over a parking block before hitting the fence, the report said.
The driver appeared to be intoxicated, but he refused to perform field sobriety tests. He was arrested and taken to the Police Station, according to the report.
He was booked and released to a sober driver with citations to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for DWI, property damage and driving without insurance, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
