The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a home in the 2900 block of Hwy. FF in the Eureka area. Electronics and other items worth more than $1,500 were stolen, the Sheriff's Office reported.

The burglary occurred between about 1 p.m. March 8 and 1 p.m. March 9. The front door to the home was forced open, and a desktop computer, a laptop computer and a lock box were stolen. Altogether, the stolen items were valued at $1,530, the report said.

As of March 17, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the burglary should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
