A company truck was stolen from Central Air Heating and Cooling, 3032 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge on May 21. However, it was recovered nearby a short time later, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The 2006 GMC truck, which was valued at $20,000, was stolen about 3:10 a.m. According to a GPS device in the vehicle, it was “ditched” four minutes later near the intersection of Edgewood Drive and High Ridge Boulevard, where it was later recovered, the report said.
Employees discovered the truck missing at about 6:45 a.m. It has since been returned to the victim with no obvious damage, authorities reported.
As of June 3, suspects had been identified but no arrests had been made, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.
