A catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup parked outside Wholesale Plumbing Supply Co., 720 W. Fourth Street. The cost to replace the converter, which was cut off the company’s 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, was estimated at about $700, Eureka Police reported.
The theft happened between about 4 p.m. March 30 and 4:40 a.m. March 31. As of Monday (April 12), the converter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Michael Werges said.
