Arnold Police are searching for medical tools stolen from a car parked outside a home in the 1600 block of Kirkham Drive. Around the same time the tools were stolen, a different car was stolen from outside a home on the same street, and that car later was recovered in St. Louis, authorities reported.

The thefts occurred early on Jan. 28, and a man allegedly was seen on surveillance video at about 4 a.m. that morning getting into a 24-year-old Arnold woman’s unlocked 2014 Chevrolet Cruze and taking a medical bag from the car. The victim said the bag contained about $3,000 worth of medical tools, the report said.

About 10 minutes later, a 31-year-old Arnold woman’s 2013 Chrysler 300 was seen being driven away from outside her home and being followed by another car. The Chrysler was locked, and the owner had the keys to the car, according to the report.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police recovered the Chrysler at about 4 a.m. Jan. 30 unoccupied and locked in the 4300 block of Bingham Avenue. The owner said nothing was missing from her car, Arnold Police reported.

As of Feb. 2, no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
