Brandon Clubbs

Brandon Clubbs has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for not following the terms of his probation. He had pleaded guilty to 10 felonies in January 2021 in Jefferson County, court documents show.

Jefferson County Div. 1 Circuit Judge Joseph Rathert revoked Clubbs’ probation on Dec. 5, according to court records.

Clubbs was arrested Feb. 26 by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Louis County for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He has been charged with DWI, a class B misdemeanor that is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000, in St. Louis County, court documents said.

He was arrested again on May 4 by the Highway Patrol in Jefferson County for first-degree tampering and removing of a manufacturer’s number, both class D felonies that carry a penalty of up to seven years in prison. The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged him on Oct. 23 with the felonies, and the office also charged him with driving with a revoked license and operating a vehicle without a validate driver’s license, both class D misdemeanors that carry a potential fine of up to $500, according to court documents.

Clubbs had been on five years’ probation since March 2022 after completing a long-term treatment program, court records show.

In January 2021, he pleaded guilty to five counts of first-degree tampering, three counts of resisting arrest and two counts of possession with a controlled substance following arrests in Jefferson County. At the time, he was sentenced to serve seven years in prison for each tampering charge, two years in prison for each resisting arrest charge and seven years in prison for each possession charge, court documents said.

However, three of the tampering charges and one of the resisting arrest charges were to be served concurrently, or at the same time, for a total of seven years, and two of the tampering charges, two of the resisting arrest charges and the two possession charges also were served concurrently for a total of seven years. The two seven-year prison sentences were to be served consecutively for a total of 14 years, court records show.
