The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of an ATV from outside a home in the 1000 block of Peppercorn Parkway in unincorporated Fenton. The ATV was valued at about $1,100, authorities reported.
A chrome-and-red 2020 Zhejiang Coolster was removed from a trailer in front of the home. The ATV had been secured to the trailer with tie-down straps, which were cut, the report said.
The victim said the ATV was at the house when the family left on July 7, and they discovered it stolen July 10, according to the report.
As of July 14, the ATV had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the ATV to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
