An ATM machine recently was stolen from Stuckmeyer’s Farm Market, 249 Schneider Drive, in the Fenton area. The theft happened between 5:20 a.m. and 6:05 a.m. Oct. 11, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Surveillance footage shows a tan Chevrolet Suburban arrive at the business, park there for about 30 minutes and then leave. It also showed a man get out of the vehicle, the report said.

The Sheriff’s Office says it appears three people were involved in the theft, Detective Sgt. James Kausler said.

The stolen ATM and damage was estimated at $2,810. On Oct. 14, the ATM was recovered in a large trash bin in the 4100 block of Eichelberger Drive in St. Louis, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.

It looked like someone pried open a window to get to the ATM and then stole it. A deputy found a pry bar, saw and pliers at the scene that apparently were used during the theft. They were seized as evidence, along with a do-rag, the report said.

As of today (Oct. 26), there were no suspects or arrests, Kausler said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
