Arnold Police are seeking assault charges against a 30-year-old Arnold woman for allegedly assaulting her estranged husband’s girlfriend, who was pregnant. The suspect allegedly struck the victim’s face, neck and stomach, police reported.
The victim had red marks on her face and neck but was not seriously hurt and refused to be taken by Rock Township Ambulance to an area hospital, the report said.
The alleged assault occurred about 1:20 p.m. Sept. 1 in the Ozark Hills mobile home community. The suspect had left the scene, driving away in a Lexus, before officers arrived, according to the report.
However, the suspect was identified and Arnold Police are seeking felony third-degree assault charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
